Mattias Lies brings a fantastic musical performance that feels too big and too good for CC-Puben and litte Gävle. It could have been Bob Dylan, Neil Young or Tom Petty. But no, it was none of those legends. It was Mattias Lies that made the music seem immortal without compromising his own artistic integrity.

Kanske kan det vara något stort på gång i och med fullängdaren ”Messages” som kommer till hösten. Mattias Lies har sadlat om och gått ifrån att vara bonnigt småcharmig till att framstå som en fullfjädrad gitarrprins. I alla fall om man ska döma efter de två melodierna på den här singeln. Det blir mycket intressant att se vad fullängdaren kan bjuda.
